Οι αρχιτέκτονες της Φάλαινας είναι ένα γραφείο αρχιτεκτονικής με έδρες στην Αθήνα και στις Βρυξέλλες, το οποίο σχεδιάζει και κατασκευάζει κτίσματα και αντικείμενα ενώ παράλληλα διεξάγει έρευνα επάνω στη χρήση και την παραγωγή τους. Οι χώροι μελετώνται ως γεννήτορες καθημερινών συμβάντων μέσω της πυκνής σύνδεσης κίνησης, οπτικής πρόσληψης και της πληθυντικής χρήσης του χώρου. Λαμβάνοντας υπόψη τον ανθρωπογενή χαρακτήρα της παραγωγής των κτισμάτων και τη σημασία των τεχνικών κατασκευής ως βασικές γνώσεις για την κοινωνική οικονομία και τον πολιτισμό, η ομάδα υποστηρίζει τη διασπορά της ελευθέριας εργασίας σχεδιάζοντας και κατασκευάζοντας κτίρια και πρωτότυπα αντικείμενα σε συνεργασία με εξειδικευμένους τεχνίτες και εργαστήρια/βιοτεχνίες μικρής κλίμακας. Έργα τους έχουν παρουσιαστεί σε εκθέσεις, εργαστήρια, συνέδρια και επιστημονικά έντυπα (15η Μπιεννάλε Αρχιτεκτονικής της Βενετίας, 5^η και 7^η Biennale Νέων Αρχιτεκτόνων, Η κατοικία στην Ελλάδα από τον 20ο στον 21ο αιώνα, Open House Athens, ΑΙΓΑΙ-Ω, The Hypnos Project, Διαδρομές στη Μάρπησσα,The Symptom Projects, AGORA 4η Biennale της Αθήνας κ.α.) 

A Whale’s architects is an office based in Athens and Brussels doing objects, edifices and research on how the former are being produced and used. Space is studied as a field that delivers relationships, as a generator of contingent daily events via the combination of movement, visual perception and plural use. Taking into account the anthropogenic character of the production of edifices and the importance of artisanship as fundamental knowledge in social economy and culture, they support the distribution of free lance labor in the production of design objects. Rather than adjusting readymade industrial items, they design and produce buildings and prototype objects in collaboration, exclusively, with qualified artisans and small or family industries. Their work has been presented in various exhibitions, conferences, workshops, and scientific journals (15^th Venice Architecture Biennale, 5^th and 7^th Biennale of Young Greek Architects, Residence in Greece from the 20^th to the 21^st century, Open House Athens, ΑΙΓΑΙ-Ω (Aegean), The Hypnos Project, Routes in Marpissa, The Symptom Projects, Agora 4^th Athens Biennale etc)
